Let's continue having fun with plum fabric!
November 09, 2016
Hello awesome sewists!
Today we want to show you a couple of beautiful projects made with some of the plum fabrics featured in this month's ColorFun blog series. I have to admit I had so much fun choosing the plum fabrics and now the plum projects for you. They are complete eye-candy! I have for you 5 patterns that look great in plum!
So let’s get started…
It’s going to become your favorite pattern if you are a beginner sewists and if you like vintage style. If you wonder which fabric to choose for it just take a look at this picture. I think the moon fabric print from Maureen's collection Nightfall matches this pattern perfectly.
Ohh, the butterfly plum fabric from the Winged collection by Bonnie Christine just looks awesome on that pouf. Revamp your room with this cute home decor element! This situpon will be a perfect cushy place for your feet:)
Do you remember when I asked you to email me the projects you have made with one of the featured prints? Well, Marlene shared with us an awesome dress she made with plum fabric and turquoise fabric from Katarina’s Rocella Inedlible collection. I love the contrast she created! Thank you Marlene for sharing this great project with us.
We just had to share this beautiful dress made by our AGF Sewcialite, Mister Domestic. He used floral plum voile fabric from the Playground collection by Amy Sinibaldi. He chose the ruffled maxi skirt option from the Bella dress pattern and it looks stunning!
Last but not least take a look at this stunning Date Night dress sewn with floral plum fabric from Katarina Roccella's Wonderland collection. I especially like The flutter sleeves. They give the dress such a romantic look.
Take a look again at this juicy plum fabric selection. Yesterday we were happy to announce the winner to our giveaway. Sandra, congrats once again!
Stay tuned for the next episode of our ColorFun by AGF series. We are preparing something special for you for this Holiday season...:)
Happy sewing with plum fabric!
