Our Favorite DIY Wall Art
November 20, 2018
Hello, Makers!
Can’t believe it's almost the end of year, wow has time flown by! This is my favorite season of all, where we get to spend a lot of time with family and eat really scrumptious food. Although this is a happy time of the year, it can become stressful running around store to store, trying to find the perfect gift for that special someone. Well makers I have some fun projects you can make that are very universal, so get those sewing machines ready… time to craft up our own gifts. I pulled together some great Wall Art tutorials that you can make that would be a perfect housewarming gift, or you can make one for any home decor lover!
Lets get started:
1. Glee Wall Art- Inspired by the collar of a simple blouse, AGF Studio created this 3-piece wall art using Signature fabrics- with it’s romantic pinks, we just had to hang it in our own office! Great piece for someone that needs that one centerpiece on their wall.
2. Spring Mandala- If you or your loved one is flower obsessed, this one's for you! Using Wild Bloom fabrics, filled with bright jewel tone florals, it will definitely stand out on a neutral colored wall.
3. Rosemary’s Heart- Now this quilt is no easy project but it’s one of those projects that you will be proud to hang on the wall once it’s finished! Using Indie Folk fabrics, this collection will be for those who have a boho style home and it definitely would be the focal point in any room.
4. Virtuosa Wall Hanging- Bari J’s latest collection, Virtuosa, is filled with colorful boho flair! A gorgous wall hanging with added tassels and of course some embellishments were called for! Tackle this fun patchwork project, that has no seams, just topstitching.
5. Pretty Dayz- Our Love Story collection represents all the simple beauties of love, so why not craft a project that radiates that energy?!
I hope these DIY projects spark the crafty side in you and reduces some of that holiday shopping! I think we can all agree that handmade is best.
Wishing everyone a happy holiday!
