Happy first Monday of December!

Now that we REALLY are into the holiday season, time finds us really busy preparing everything but most impostantly it finds us busy making things for our loved ones. 

As if we needed an excuse to make and sew, but oh how we love it. Getting really inspired by someone we care about, and making something for them that can be treasured for years and years (and hopefully be passed on) is one of the best ways of creating.

What is your favourite thing to make and gift? I love making mini quilts. I confess I have not made many, but I really enjoy it because even if I have friends or family members who are not really into quilting, a mini quilt can be easily adapted to many styles.

Another thing I like about minis is that they can be made in many different shapes like these hexagonal ones.

Helloooo wonderful makers!

I couldn’t be happier to say that the holiday season is finally here *sounds of sleigh bells*! It’s time to bring in your christmas tree or menorah, light up your house with twinkling lights, and make handmade gifts for all your loved ones. What I love the most about this season is all the inspiration that surrounds us during this festive time.

Last year, for our ColorFun bundle we prepared a classic bundle filled with red and green fabrics for all your projects. This time around, we’re back with a more unconventional holiday bundle that’s still as festive as the last one! Makers, this round of ColorFun is all about sewing in a winter wonderland.

Although, it doesn’t snow or even get slightly cold in South Florida, we love to dream about snow days, fresh pines, and all the beautiful things we see in pictures that represent winter.
