I am just aww struck from all the amazing projects that were made in the AGF Quilt Block Collection Blog Tour hosted by Sharon McConnell from Color Girl Quilts. The Blog tour showcased 9 talented designers turning their favorite block from the the series into pillows, table runners, mini quilts and so much more!
Take a look below at all the hard work these wonderful designers put in and learn more about how you can incorporate these quilt blocks into your sewing projects!
Sharon made the Jack in the Box block featuring Charleston fabrics and turned it into a mini quilt masterpiece! The reds and blues pop from the white background, having me dreaming about the Fourth of July and picnics at the beach! The sashing with cornerstones adds the perfect finishing touch to this mini!
Karen made the Ohio Star block featuring Woodlands Fusion and turned it into the most gorgeous pair of pillows! She added a border to her blocks with Linen from The Denim Studio and quilted it with grid straight line quilting. I love the decorative stitches she used with varies colors of contrasting threads.
Kate made the Crossed Canoes block featuring Blush fabrics. She turned her blocks into a colorful scrappy mini. I would love to see this turned into a giant quilt! Wouldn't it make the perfect summer quilt to bring to the beach?!
Maureen made the Moroccan block featuring her new collection Love Story and turned her block into the yummiest pillow! I always enjoy the scrappy feel of Maureen's pillows. The color combination makes you feel all warm and cozy.
Sharon made the Aztec block featuring a variety of spruce, mint, teal, silver, and wintry-white hues. I am in love with the Christmas season so of course I am in love with this fresh, winter inspired table runner Sharon made from her blocks!
