Hand Sewing Stitches Guide

Hey hey!

I hope you all found good use to the sewing machine stitches infographic I made last week! Today, I have another infographic for you to collect! This one is about hand sewing stitches. I know that most of you already know these terms and the use of each stitch, but I think having these little charts at hand is very helpful. For example if you have to help someone with a project, you can hand them this little "cheat sheet" to make things easier for them! Or let's say you're a little rusty on your hand sewing skills, this chart will be a great reminder.

Check it out, print it out, and start sewing!

I hope you all enjoyed this!

How to make a simple skirt with an elastic waistband? Skirt sewing tutorial!

Hello Makers!

Today, we have a little surprise for you. Recently, Laura from Petite Stitchery visited as at AGF Headquaters and we recorded some great sewing tutorials with her! One of them explains how to make a skirt with elastic waistband and a cute pocket. We want to share it with you today. The project is very easy to make and your little girl is going to love it! The big pocket is a great addition because what kid doesn't like big pockets? They can put all of their treasures in there ;)

Laura used Wonderful Things collection by Bonnie Christine and it's definitely WONDERFUL for this project.

Follow the tutorial and let us know in comments if you want to make a skirt just like this one!

Happy Sewing

Sewing Machine Stitches

Hey there!

As you all know I'm always posting learning materials because who doesn't love to learn or remember interesting things? I personally love learning new things! Here at AGF HQ we always say "everyday you learn something new" and I think it is so true! It's incredible how you get to learn or understand so many things in so little time.

Especially, when your friends or coworkers are from different parts of the world. Today, I started researching about the different types of stitches and I found lots of interesting information! Since I love making infographics I decided to narrow down the information I found in this cute graphic!  My favorite thing about infographics is that you can print them out and have them wherever is convenient for you!  Infograph

I hope you guys find good use for this infographic about sewing stitches.
